Emma died on the 8th of January 2006 in Harefield hospital aged 24 years.She went in for a five day assessment in september 2005 due to developing 'Dilated Cardiomyopathy' in January 2005.She never came home again.They found that her heart was so enlarged that she needed a Heart Transplant, but sadly it was too late for that and was only on the transplant list for 1 week before the doctors decided to put in a artifical heart pump.Which had worked for others but not for Emma.She gradually became weaker and weaker until she died of multiple organ failure in January 2006.All her family and friends miss her greatly and life is not the same without her.She was such a kind, loving and giving person.We give thanks to the staff at Harefield Hospital who couldn't of done more to save Emma's life but it was not meant to be.
